12 things we did when we visited Paris in December
Before we left for our trip I researched a TON of blog articles on "What to do in Paris" "Things to do in Paris" "Top 10 things to do in Paris" etc... We also had friends with advice on places that we needed to hit, so I figured I'd pass on the information for the next person! (or, for my mom who wanted to travel vicariously through me ♥️ ...or for me in 20 years 😉 )
I'll keep it brief. Here is what we did, how we booked it, and our star ratings!! (The list is in no particular order and we gave our star ratings very quickly haha, everything was awesome and it wouldn't be on this list if I didn't think you should do it.)
1. Palace of Versailles
We got really unlucky and then lucky hah. We tried to book tickets for the palace and the garden but because it was winter they weren't selling tickets to the garden, so I say okay. But then [because we waited 'til the last minute] we almost didn't get tickets to the palace until I found a Versailles Palace Skip-the-Line Entrance and Breakfast Ticket. We ate at a little restaurant IN the palace, it was delightful and a great deal! Highly recommend. We also took the metro out to Versaille which was super easy after we talked to the metro attendant to get our tickets 😂 .

2. Boat cruise on the Sein
This was super cheap & easy to do. We sat on an indoor boat and got to listen to audio guide of what we were passing, it was nice!

4. Catacombs
This was super cool, I went on a day when Teddy had to work so I was all by myself, and boy, what a thrill. It had a great audio tour so that made me feel safe haha.

5. Eiffel Tower Dinner
Stunning to look at & stunning to eat in. I saw Anna Kloots had gone there for dinner and so I mentioned it to Teddy and he made it happen!! So fun.

This was still being renovated after the fire but it was still gorgeous to see.

Unfortunately, it was closed, so we just saw it from the outside.
7. Arc de Triumph
This is the start of the Champ de Elyse but I still separated them into two things that we did.

9. Sacre -core
This was a solo venture where I didn't go in but was happy I did. The walk up to it is gorgeous and filled with all kinds of shops and cafés but the walk down the front was a game changer.

I didn't purchase tickets to go inside, the walk up and view in front was enough for me on this day.
10. The Latin Quarter
My roommate Eric told me we had to go here & he was right. Let's see if he reads this. 😉

11. Luxembourg Gardens / Park
We went in December so this was pretty sparse but it was still gorgeous and I can only imagine how stunning it is during the summer!

12. Moulin Rouge
I LOVE the movie and so I think I had a really grandiose idea of this theatre in my head. It was super cool to see but a little anticlimactic. I probably should have seen a show though to make a real decision. However, it was fun to walk by!

I just took a look at the outside of the theatre.
