No — purchasing your domain name + premium hosting plan on WIX is a separate cost. It is important to have your name as the website's domain for career purposes, but if you choose to stay with the free website that is fine too. If you already have a domain purchased elsewhere, no worries, it can be transferred. Let's chat.

When you upgrade your free WIX website to a premium hosting plan, you can purchase a domain name at the same time. You can also go through other sites such as GoDaddy, Blue Host etc. for the domain name and transfer it to WIX. Hosting, however must be purchased through WIX. I suggest the Combo plan.
